Baseball All District Players

The district picks a certain number of players throughout all the teams for first team all-district, second team all-district, and honorable mention. From the baseball team there were six players who made this list. Two were first team all-district, one second team all-district, and three honorable mentions.

The two players who won first team all-district were junior Bryan Mucher, and senior Isaiah Saldana. They both been on varsity for three years, and second team all- district last year.

“Being on the list for two years in a row honestly feels good to be honest,” junior Bryan Mucher said. “It makes me feel that all the hard work payed off.”

The only player who was on the second team all-district list this year was junior Bryan Tarchinski. This season was his first year on varsity. He made second team all-district as an outfielder, he mainly  started at outfield this season.

“I was very surprised when I found out I made second team all-district,” Bryan said. “It was my first year on varsity and I hope I make the list in the future.”

If you make the first team all-district your coach has the possibility to nominate the player for all-city team, which is throughout all of El Paso. Isaiah was been nominated by his coach for all city team, in a couple of weeks he will find out if he made the all-city team or not.

“I really hope I make all-city team; it will be a good accomplishment for my baseball career as it comes to an end,” Isaiah said.

Many players  made the all-district this year, and for years to come hopefully many more players will make all district teams in the future.
