Gingerbread cutouts are painted to show where the ornament making will take place. The cutouts were painted good leaving people saying they look good.

Found them!
Because of the last minute move or where the decorating would be not many people were there at the start. After the students caught wind of the move of the activity there was many groups of people who came to participate.

Don’t take them.
The day before the Thanksgiving Holiday break StuCo had a get together to make Gingerbread Ornaments to donate to The El Paso Children’s Hospital. Many students came out to decorate after finding out the wholesome reason of the lunchtime activity.

Let’s get some
There was a wonderful turnout for the ornament making. There were many people who came out to decorate there was a bit of a line, but in the end everyone got one to decorate.

Not my gumdrop buttons.
Two students were making one of the gingerbread men. The ornaments were very customizable these students made a very stylish ornaments making sure not to forget the gumdrop buttons.

Lets give him a house.
The same students after making the gingerbread man started making him a house. There were two options a house and a man they didn’t want to leave him homeless.

That’s cool
Student Zedekiah Jones picked up an ornament from the table to take home and finish. He took a gingerbread man and a house to decorate later. He said “I made my gingerbread house at home and it was pretty fun to make.”

Spread the Christmas spirt.
Student Austin Jano is a student council member at chapin. He came to the ornament making and had a good time. He said “I built a gingerbread house and it was really fun,” and “i was satisfied with the amount of people.”

That was fun.
After these three students finished with the ornaments they left them at the table to be donated. These ornaments were be donated to the children’s hospital to help decorate a trees to cheer up the people there.

The Gingerbread Man.
StuCo decorated over sized paper gingerbread to show examples of how you can decorate. These gingerbread cut outs also helped students find where the event was taking place
