Before Sophomore Jorge Martinez match, coach Karl Queen helped him stretch his shoulders out. "It is super important to warm up before a match," teammate Sergio Vargas said. "You have to get your mentality right. You have to stay warm in order to give your best performance and not feel stiff."

After successfully pinning his opponent, junior wrestler Sergio Vargas awaits coaches word for the next step. Sergio was able to secure the pin, and win his match. "My goals for the next competition is to have less compassion for others and be more aggressive," Sergio said. "I tend to take it easy on others. I should give everybody the same energy."
