The story is told through the eyes of Hazel Grace Lancaster, a 16 year old who is suffering with cancer. When her mom forces her to go to a cancer support group to help her deal with her illness, she encounters Augustus Waters. It was fate that brought the two together. They both shared an interest in endings and being remembered. These star-crossed lovers can’t escape fate.
