Freshman Hector Sifuentes makes a run from second to third attempting the steal third. He slid into the base and stayed safe, late in the play he made it home and got a run for his team.
The game ends with a 9-1 win for the team they played a good game. It was a high scoring game with them keeping Burges to one point while they got 9 for themselves. “I feel like we did good we had good hitting and fielding,” Gabriel said.
As the starting pitcher, junior Isayah Carrasco only let through one run all game. The team held Burges scoreless until a player got a hit during the third inning.

Sophmore Alex Rosete goes up to bat in the third inning. He struck the ball at the perfect time sending it flying into play. “I think our team did pretty well, the energy was there throughout the game just overall a good game,” Alex said.
Freshman Jonathan Velarde caught a pop fly that was hit to the infield by the Mustangs batter. He got to ball then threw it to first to insure the player was out.

Sophomore David Fabela runs home from third base. When the ball was hit into the play David made a sprint home getting his team a run. “I feel like I could have done better, but I did have a hit I was making contact I made my plays, I gave it my all,” David said.
Freshman Jaedon Hermosillo steps up to home plate for his at bat. He got a great ball thrown at him, he hit it into the outfield and got a double.
Sophomore Ovid Romero hit a ball into then took off sprinting to first. He made it to first then rounded the base towards second.
Junior Nick Pedigo Sits at his position behind home plate waiting for the pitch to get to him. Him and the pitcher worked together to strike out many Burges players keeping the Mustangs at one point all game.
