Girls varsity basketball come back 41-32 in the fourth quarter against Hanks

Jumpin’ for joy! In the game against Hanks on Nov. 19, senior Daisy Urenda jumps on senior Jasmine Blake after coming back 41-32. “Seeing us frustrate the other team couldn’t have made me more hype,” Daisy said. “I couldn’t be anymore happier for my team, we worked hard for that win.”
Tippin’ from the start. An electric start of the game between Hanks on Nov. 19, seniorJasmine Blake won the tip-off between Hanks. This would set them up for success.
Solidifying the win. During the game against Hanks on Nov. 19, senior Jasmine Blake stole the ball from Hanks and went to score a lay-up.”I felt excited because once we started to get a lead I knew that we were going to win,” Jasmine said.
Under pressure. Nearing the fourth quarter against Hanks on Nov.19, senior Samantha Wise goes for a lay-up setting the tone for what’s to come. “This moment of the game was thrilling,” Samantha said. “Being able to score against them and being a positive team was the reason we won that game.”
The scream says it all. During the game against Hanks, with the close score between the teams, Jasmine Blake makes an “and 1”. Senior Izabella Zamora was hyped for her teammate giving it her all.
Locked in. During the game against Hanks on November 19, senior Daisy Urenda defends the ball during offense trying to set up for a lay-up. Daisy played a very aggressive game against hanks on both offensive and defense.
That’s a bucket. On Nov. 19, the game against Hanks and the huskies went on to win 41-32. Senior Izabella Zamora shot a three-pointer in the end of the second half. This was a crucial shot for the huskies to take the lead.
Nothing but net! On Nov. 19, the girls varsity basketball team handled the Hanks Knights. Senior Ja’zaya Valadez-Hernandez found an opening to shoot a three-pointer. This would give them the drive that they needed to eventually win 41-32.
Looking effortless. During the game against Hanks on Nov. 19, junior, Vanessa Mora helps the team by sinking in a 3-pointer. This sparked the team excitement.
Eyes on the prize. Game against Hanks on Nov. 19, senior, Jasmine Blake goes up for a lay-up to upset the Hank Knights. Jasmine would have the most points scored this game, with a total of 21 points.
