Donald Trump promised mass deportation if he was elected and followed through with it.
Border Patrol has tightened security on the border making crossing to Mexico and coming back more difficult.
“Last year I used to cross more fast and didn’t feel as much,” sophomore Danna Amador said. “I have an aunt in Los Angeles and she got deported last month with her kids.”
Wendy Garcia, friend and family to immigrants, was worried and upset over the mass deportation.
“I know my friends mom got deported, what evil world,” junior Wendy Garcia said. ” We were scared but now we are just really disappointed in our president.”
The military has been working hard getting military planes for deportations according to Fox 5 New York. Family and friends in the military are work more to keep up with demand.
“It’s been weird my dad is working more,” junior Dominic Anderson said. “He is working more to get soldiers for deportation.”
Donald Trump is attempting to challenge the 14th amendment and strip birthright citizenship from a certain group of people according to Democratic Erosion Consortium.
“I think it’s wild, if they were born here their citizens,” sophomore Kayla Creel said. “Seems really messed up that they deport parents or the kids.”
