Student Government’s frosty fun general meeting

Giving back! The community service committee made reindeer inspired hot chocolate bags to donate to the nurses at the El Paso Children’s hospital during student governments general meeting.
Sleighs for the kids. The pride and patriotism committee made candy cane and chocolate shields for the CDL kids! During the general meeting pride and patriotism committee wanted to highlight the CDL kids and give them a chance to shine.
Dressing up for the holiday spirit! Students attend the general meeting were told to come in holiday gear and they did not disappoint. “It was nice being able to do something to give back to people,” junior Morgan De Lay said.
Frosty fun crafting! The fine arts committee is making snowman crafts for the fine arts teachers to enjoy for the rest of the school year.”I had fun participating in the StuCo meeting with my friends,” senior Veronica Huerta said.
Gettin’ crafty! Some of the general student government members were getting crafty while making snowman crafts for our teachers! While it got a messy, our huskies had a blast creating crafts and memories.
Santa is ready for take off! The pride and patriotism committee finished all of these candy cane sleighs for the CDL kids we have at school. The fine arts chair, Ruby Vasquez had made many examples so students would have a great lead.
Hard at work. Students stay busy during the student government general meeting on Dec. 11, making various crafts for people to enjoy.
Saying peace to the first semester! During the general meeting for student government on December 11, the DASH committee made homemade play dough for stress relief for upcoming finals. “I loved how interactive it was by working with everyone and spending time with my friends,” senior Elizabeth Vera said.
Frosty creations. During the student government general meeting on December 11, two students are holding up their frosty snowman. They made these stick snowman for the fine arts teacher to celebrate the end of the semester.
Gettin’ the job done. The community service committee was hard at work during the last student government meeting of the year. They were making reindeer hot chocolate bags for nurses at the El Paso Children’s Hospital!
