AP exams has started, and for a lot of High school students, it is the most stressful time of the year. These tests are college level exams, and if you score high enough, you can earn college credits.
Freshman Sophia Brown is feeling the pressure for AP Human Geography.
“This is my first AP exam, and I’m definitely nervous,” Sophia said. “But, I’ve been studying like crazy, and my teacher is also a very very big help.”
She isn’t alone. Many other students are working hard to prepare for their exams, by asking for help or just studying on their own.
Junior Alan Moreno is taking his 3rd exam, which is Calculus.
“Testing for me is usually stressful because I always have multiple exams to take, since most of my classes are AP,” Alan said. “It’s okay though because I’m confident in myself, kind of.”
Students who aren’t testing this year are thinking about taking AP classes in the future, even though they are nervous about how hard the work is going to be.
Sophomore Alexis Gomez is planning on taking AP US History.
“I’m planning on taking AP US History for my 11th grade year, I’m low-key scared because most people say it’s hard,” Alexis said. “And they say it depends on your teacher if you pass the class or not, so I hope I get a good teacher.”
