“I got so confused when I saw all the people running and yelling on the stands from Andress, so I just thought to myself what I’m I doing here, so I decided to get up and started running as well,” junior Vianney Cerros said.

Everyone was yelling that there were gunshots. After a couple of minutes, the crowd realized that it wasn’t gunshots but someone had put off some fireworks. Some players thought that the game was going to end but it didn’t, it kept going.

“When coach told me to come back because the game was going to keep going,” Andress defensive tackle Bryan Vega said. “I didn’t want to because of how scared I had gotten.”
