Fan-con is a convention of fans from all different types of fandoms; This event was brought together by the Nobodies club.

“I am the librarian, and the Nobodies are the library club that brought all of this together, we have realistically been planning to do a Fan-con since January,” librarian Megan Skipworth said.

The Fan-con consisted of vendor selling handmade things, food trucks, performances from the Legends dance team and the fencing club, smash bros tournament, video games, board games, various crafts, Trivia and a costume contest.

“We have vendors selling um mostly handmade things um and then we have food trucks and then we have/had from the Legends Dance team and the Fencing club and then we have a Smash Brothers tournament, we have other video games people can play, there’s board games,” Megan said. “Mr. Black is doing a Dungeons and Dragons demonstration , and we have various crafts, like paper spinners, and trivia and then there will be a costume contest later.”

The event had various food trucks available from carne asada fries to shaved ice.

“I sell Hawaiian shaved ice. My shaved ice is made with all natural ingredients, fresh fruit, purified water, and cane sugar,” said Angel Beasley, owner of Suncity’s Hawaiian shaved ice.

There were performances from the Legends dance team and the fencing team.

“We have been practicing this dance routine for this event for a while now I think,” junior Angelica Tais said.
