The African Culture Fiber Artist

Bisa Butler is an African American quilt artist whose inspiration is her family history. Born in 1973, Butlers first quilt is named “Francis and Violette”. Butlers’ art has made its way into museums. One of them being the “National Museum of African American History and Culture”. 

The arts also made its way into Time Magazines where all can see her creative mind. Bisa Butlers work of arts definitely haven’t gone unseen.
