The Disaster Artist Draws in Strong Critic Reviews

Dave and James Franco are teaming up December 1, for the movie ‘The Disaster Artist’. The movie is based on Tommy Wiseau and a book written by his co-star from the movie “The Room” during the filming of the movie.

Disaster Artist is a movie about the production and making of the ‘The Room’ which was a movie that received a horrible critic rating and is considered as one of the worst movies to have been made. As a result of the horrible rating it became a sort of gimmick movie that became a part of pop culture.

The script for the movie was picked up by Seth Rogan’s production company and is being directed by James Franco. It is a comedy movie with the main characters being played as James Franco as Tommy Wiseau and Dave Franco as Greg Sestero. This is the first time that both Dave and James Franco are working together on a project.

When asked about why it took so long for the Franco brothers to work together on a project Dave Franco replied with ‘I didn’t want people to think I was riding his coattails,’ in an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Unlike the movie it mocks, Disaster artist has received positive feedback as it received standing ovations at pre-screenings and a very reputable 94% currently on Rotten Tomatoes.

While many are looking forward to the big films such as ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ or ‘Star Wars The Last Jedi’, ‘The Disaster Artist’ is sure to be a movie that you don’t want to miss.
